The string of exciting employment announcements continues.
This evening I am excited to announce that I am joining WFMZ and the Big Ticket show to work as a freelance video journalist. I’ll be covering local, Lehigh Valley high school football games for the live, highly-acclaimed studio show which wraps around to all the high school football games that night.
The Big Ticket airs at 11 p.m. every Friday night during the high school football season.
This is a great opportunity for me to continue my passion for broadcast journalism as this is my first position at a true television station and it is in a quality market here in the Lehigh Valley.
I have to thank Dave Lesko of the WFMZ sports department for getting me a chance to get this position and I thank Dan Moscaritolo and Jim Vaughn, the anchors of the Big Ticket, for bringing me aboard as well.
I am very excited to get a taste of working in live television as well as work on my editing skills and getting hands-on time with professional grade equipment.
My first night of work is this Friday night as I am covering the Southern Lehigh at Palmerton game for the show.
More exciting announcements are on the horizon as well. Stay tuned!
