I’m very excited to announce that I am now assisting the World Cycling League team and the group behind the building of the National Velodrome at Albright College as Communications Manager. My first day on the job was Monday.
This new endeavor is an add-on as I am still happily employed at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center.
Within my role with the WCL crew, I am to oversee the operation of all social media channels, e-mail newsletters, and website content. Additionally, I will be composing press releases as well as serving as liaison between WCL and the media as well as creating smaller-scale video content for both social media and WCL’s YouTube channel. The position and duties have the ability to grow with the progression of the construction of the National Velodrome as well as the resumption of the World Cycling League.
I feel this is a great opportunity to work with some very talented people and it will mesh well with my current position at VPCC, who is fully supportive of the WCL and the potential of a new, indoor track in Reading, Pennsylvania.
For making this possible I’d like to thank Janet Atkinson and Dave Chauner. Janet for recommending and Dave for believing.
